Center for Writing in College, Career, and Community
Who We Are
Welcome to the Center for Writing in College, Career and Community (CWCCC). We support teachers in all grade levels (Kindergarten through University) and across all disciplines to improve student writing through innovative, engaged, and meaningful professional learning, youth programs, and workshops in partnership with schools, universities, and community partners.
The CWCCC is home to the Ozarks Writing Project (OWP), a site of the National Writing Project, and to Computer Science Opportunities, Development & Education in Rural Schools (CODERS) part of the US Department of Education's Education, Innovation & Research program.
CWCCC was founded by Dr. Keri Franklin in 2008 and was approved by Missouri State's Board of Governors in 2016. It is housed in the English Department within the Reynolds College of Arts, Social Sciences, and Humanities.
