Center for Writing in College, Career and Community
The mission of the Missouri State University Center for Writing in College, Career, and Community (CWCCC) is to support instructors in all grade levels (Kindergarten through University) and across all disciplines to improve student writing through innovative, engaged, and meaningful professional learning, youth programs, and workshops in partnership with schools, universities, and community partners.
MSU's CWCCC stemmed from their work with the Ozarks Writing Project (OWP), housed in the English Department within the Reynolds College of Arts and Letters, a collaborative program between MSU and the National Writing Project (NWP), and founded by Keri Franklin in 2008. Since then, OWP has expanded programs and developed partnerships with national, state, and local entities.
