Dr. Franklin earned her PhD in English Education from the University of Missouri and MA in Writing from Missouri State. She is the founding director of Ozarks Writing Project, director of the Office of Assessment, and an English faculty member.
As co-director of OWP, Amy coordinates the Summer Institute and Writing & Thinking Conferences. She loves working with teachers, both new and experienced, and is interested in ways teachers foster a love for learning in their students.
Dr. Cathie English, co-director of OWP, has facilitated work in rural schools through the College-Ready Writers Program. She has also facilitated the Summer Institute and Advanced Institutes focused upon teacher leadership and reflective practice.
Colleen is a facilitator for professional development in the College-Ready Writers Program and coordinates youth writing conferences. She writes poetry because she knows the power of writing to heal and leads poetry workshops for 12-step groups.
Terri earned her MS in Education from Northwest Missouri State University. Affiliated with Writing Project sites for many years, Terri currently finds herself serving as co-director of youth programs for Ozarks Writing Project.
